Each of the vision correction procedures listed are different in technique and equipment needed to achieve the best result. Pricing for LASIK & PRK is based on the amount of your prescription and other anatomical features, so we need to get a full evaluation of you eyes before we can give you accurate pricing. Lens-based procedures are a little easier to price. EVO ICL™ has just two tiers of pricing based on high and low prescriptions. RLE is one price for all because we are replacing your natural lens. Cataract Removal depends on your insurance plan and the lens you choose, so we need to see you in office to determine pricing.

However, some people see great for years after their procedure & then notice their vision starts to get a little blurry. This is where LASIK4Life comes in. At $400 total for both eyes ($200 per eye), it covers the full laser vision correction cost of any additional enhancements you may need from one year after surgery through the rest of your life.
Some providers advertise “free” lifetime coverage only to roll the cost into the price of LASIK. We like to give our patients the option to include it or not. There are no restrictions, requirements, or hidden fees. If we can do more to get you seeing better after your laser eye procedure, we’ll do it. Period.
We’ve found about 10% of patients needed a laser touch-up within the first ten years after their procedure. We don’t have twenty-year data, but it can be assumed that the number will go up over time.
Enhancements are FREE for life, and you can have the enhancement done at any SHARPEVISION location. It’s good to know that there are many things that can affect your vision and make it blurry, for example dry eye syndrome. It’s best for you to have an exam with your optometrist first to rule out any reason for a change in your vision before scheduling an exam for an enhancement.
LASIK4Life is included with Cataracts! Everyone will develop cataracts eventually, typically in their 60s or 70s. If we can help you see clearer with a laser enhancement after your cataract surgery, we will. It is safe, effective, and commonly done.
You may have heard people say that they had LASIK years ago but it didn’t “hold.” The truth is that the vision correction that LASIK achieves is permanent. The misunderstanding is that, starting in our mid 40s and on, the lens of the eye starts to get stiff due to aging. This means we cannot see clearly close-up and will need readers. It will happen to everyone, no matter if you had LASIK previously or not. At that point, we have options to get you seeing clearly again close-up, like MonoVision, RLE, and in some cases LASIK and EVO ICL.™ For some people, an enhancement will do the trick. For others, it won’t. That’s why we make LASIK4Life affordable but optional.
We’re over-accomplished, not overpriced. We want you to get the best results without breaking the bank. So, if you happen to find a better price for LASIK, PRK or EVO ICL™, simply bring us your exam paperwork dated within three months of your consultation and we’ll match that price for service! It’s good to know that additional SHARPEVISION discounts do not apply to a price-match from another practice, so our price may still be lower. There’s literally no reason to have your vision correction anywhere else.

One of the most common concerns people have with LASIK and other vision correction procedures is the upfront price. It helps to see that cost from a different perspective.
Cost is a huge concern for those considering LASIK, PRK, EVO ICL™ or RLE for their vision problems, which naturally leads to hopes of insurance coverage. Sadly, health insurance doesn’t cover these vision correction surgeries because they classify them as an elective or non-emergency procedure. This is especially true since most people have eye problems due to age or natural causes. There are some exceptions, however. For example, if you require surgery due to an accident or injury, some insurance policies might cover it. Or if you get insurance through an employer that recognizes the benefits of vision correction, they may cover the costs. We recommended you check your specific insurance benefits and with your employer before your consultation.
The good news is that you have resources and financing options that can help with your bill. One of the most common is paying for the procedure in regular installments of as little as $200 – $300 per month. This can help make payments significantly easier for many people. At SHARPEVISION, we offer guaranteed financing because we believe everyone deserves to see the world clearly!
Many people have a misconception that LASIK is insanely expensive. So, how much does LASIK cost? As you can see from our pricing listed above, it depends on your prescription and anatomy. The average cost of LASIK surgery nationally runs between $1,000 to over $4,000 per eye, so you’re looking at a total price tag of $2,000 to over $8,000. That cost is often inclusive with pre and post-operative care, apart from the procedure itself. However, the actual figure varies wildly depending on the eye doctor doing the procedure, the location, equipment, and if the patient has unique eye conditions.
SHARPEVISION provides competitive costs on LASIK and PRK surgery along with our excellent service and stellar track record because we believe in vision correction for ALL! And should you find a lower LASIK or PRK price elsewhere, we’ll be happy to match the price for service. We’re confident in our ability to give you the best experience for the best price.
Even after knowing the benefits of LASIK, many people are still hesitant to pay the upfront price. You might be having the same thoughts, as well. The truth is that LASIK is worth it! While it seems expensive at first glance, it’s actually the least expensive eye correction solution you can get. Here’s why:
If you’ve used our Cost Calculator, you’ve probably found that you spend an average of $1,000 – $1,500 per year on prescription eyewear & contacts, including optometrist visits. In a decade, that reaches around $10,000 to $15,000 & will balloon to about $40,000 by the time you hit 50 years old.
Now, compare that to the $2,500 to $3,500 per eye average cost of LASIK surgery. In a single investment, you’ve eliminated the need for prescription eyewear for decades to come! You’ll also need eye exams less frequently, which further compounds your cost savings.
Even with the most expensive LASIK surgery you can find, it’s still clear that you save a considerable amount of money in the long run when you opt for the procedure.
In the end, what makes LASIK surgery worth it isn’t just the money you’ll save, but the freedom you’ll have. The procedure allows you to live your life freely, without being burdened by eyeglasses and contact lenses. We invite you to use our Cost Calculator to find out how affordable the procedure will be for you!
When our team can attest to its life changing benefits, you know SHARPEVISION vision correction isn’t just hype!
